Our Story

Arkansas Has Its Own Walk of Fame

Tucked along Central Avenue in the heart of downtown Hot Springs, the Arkansas Walk of Fame is a living tribute to the extraordinary individuals who called the Natural State home — and changed the world in the process.

Founded in 1996 by Hot Springs residents Ken Wheatley and Tom Wilkins, the Walk honors both native-born Arkansans and long-time residents who have achieved national recognition and made lasting contributions to their fields.

Stroll the same sidewalk as a U.S. President's plaque, a Man in Black, a five-star general, and baseball Hall of Famers. Free, outdoors, and open always.

"Honoring those Arkansans who have been recognized nationally and have made a significant and notable contribution to our world."
